David Mellen
David Mellen was born and educated in Ipswich and came to Nottingham to study at Trent Polytechnic in 1982. He taught for 21 years in the city and county starting his career at Jesse Boot Junior School and most recently serving as Headteacher at Mellers School in Radford for four years.
He has lived in Sneinton for the last 35 years and chairs the management committee of Bakersfield Community Centre and supports a variety of other community groups.
He has been a city councillor for 22 years and represents the Dales Ward in Nottingham.

Cheryl Barnard
Cheryl moved to Nottingham in 1991 and was the lead officer on domestic violence issues prior to managing Nottingham Law Centre for 20 years.
Cheryl is a city councillor in the Bulwell Forest ward in Nottingham and is currently the Portfolio Holder for Children, Young People and Education. She has been a passionate supporter and fundraiser for the Imagination Library for many years.

Peter Moore
Peter has lived in Nottingham nearly all his life and is now retired from working as a Chartered Accountant in general practice in the Nottingham office of a national firm.
He is a long-standing member of and a past president of the Rotary Club of Nottingham and has been involved with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in the city from the time that it was established here.

June Galloway
June has been a teacher for almost 40 years, working not only in the UK but also overseas; latterly, working with children with special needs. She has a particular interest in dyslexia and autism and currently volunteers in a local school to assist with their reading programme.
She moved to Nottingham from the north of Scotland just over two years ago and has embraced all the opportunities that Nottingham has to offer including joining the Rotary Club of Nottingham.
As a new trustee she is very much looking forward to working for the Nottingham Imagination Library.
